Radiators
Radiators circulate heat inefficiently creating highest temperatures
at the ceiling, coldest at the floor thus create cold feet, hot
head resulting in an uncomfortable heated environment.
|

|
Underfloor
heating
Underfloor heating keeps the warmth where it is required creating
warm feet and a cool head which is ideal for human comfort
|
 |
Comfort
Underfloor heating delivers a near perfect temperature profile between
floor and ceiling due to a balanced combination of radiant and convected
heat. |
Radiators
heat the air in the room by convection, drawing cold air across
the floor and sending it up to the ceiling, making it one of the
warmest places in the room.
In contrast, 50% of warmth generated by underfloor heating is
radiant heat, where the floor evenly releases heat, which is absorbed
by people and objects in the room giving a feeling of natural
warmth with no stuffiness.

Economy & Environment
Energy savings are important not only to individual end users but
also to the planet.
|
Floorwarming
systems are more efficient because they deliver the better results
then conventional heating whilst operating at much lower temperatures
and utilising a thermal store. This minimises cost both to you and
the environment by consuming less fuel.
Lower return water temperatures increase the efficiency of condensing
boilers, maintenance and servicing costs are low. The average saving
is around 20-25%, but on larger properties, savings can be as high
as 40%.
Underfloor heating is also beneficial to the health. The warmth
underfoot is thereputic to persons with arthritis and rheumatism
and asthmatics will be free of the dust movement caused by common
convection heating appliances. |
 |
Design Freedom
Radiators are ugly and consume valuable space. Not only do they
take up wall space but placing furniture in front of them blocks
heat. A floor warming system gives you complete freedom to design
your interiors without restrictions as well as increasing your living
space. |
