How
it works......
Embedded in screed
The heating tube is simply clipped to the standard insulation
layer before the screed is poured. If the floor insulation meets
the building regulation requirement, no additional insulation
is needed. For mixed screeds, Heating Underfloor supplies an economical
clipping track method for easy installation and accurate control
of the tube spacing.
For use with liquid self-levelling screed, we supply clipping
panels to cover the entire floor. These may optionally be used
for mixed screeds.

With heat reflectors
Metal heat reflectors positioned in pre-tracked insulation material
provide a versatile installation method. A floating chipboard
decking may be used over it, or the insulation panels may be inserted
between battens to take nailed timber.
In an upper floor, the scheme may be installed between the joists,
working from above.Other Heating Underfloor schemes enable a low-height
build-up on top of existing decking or solid floors provided they
are pre-installed with adequate insulation.
